Pamela Judge

A former registered nurse, Pam specialised in aged car from graduation, with additional certificates in Gerontic (aged care), Palliative Care and Welfare.

She was engaged by the Federal Government in Adelaide and Victoria, firstly in providing information relating to aged care welfare and, later, she was responsible for implementing outcome standards in nursing homes and hostels, as well as consulting and drafting the first National Complaints Strategy for people living in residential aged care facilities. 

Pam has managed aged care community and centre based programmes in Wagga Wagga, moving to manage residential aged care facilities in both Victoria and South Australia.   In 2011 Pam was awarded the inaugural Mrs Kate Rhodes OAM Scholarship by the ACH Group (South Australia).

She is a founding member, and is an Honorary Life Member, of the MS Society of the ACT (now MS Australia). She was also a founding member of the Disabled Adults Residential Care Establishment (D.A.R.E). 

Pam has also been a radio announcer and magazine editor.

She resides at Woodside Lodge in the Adelaide Hills and has a great interest in, and commitment to, the welfare health and security of all residents who live in private retirement villages.
