John Kelly

Previous to his current role, he was Principal of John G Kelly & Associates Pty Limited, providing legal advice primarily to
health industry clients, in the areas of commercial, corporate and competition law. John’s practice primarily covered the
aged care, medical device and pharmaceutical sectors.
Before practising as a lawyer, John had been involved in the healthcare industry for over 16 years as a nurse, psychologist
and a healthcare manager. As well as clinical, teaching and management roles in nursing, John has worked in health
industry strategic planning roles at both national and state levels.
He is a former Commonwealth Aged Care Commission. John has held Board or Chair roles with the Australian College of
Nurse Practitioners, UnitingCare Ageing (NSW.ACT), Master Electricians Australia, The Smith Family and the John Curtin
School of Medical Research Foundation.
